Packaging and print details played an important role in making the brand feel tactile and ownable. The pastry box uses the repeated logo pattern in a soft tonal treatment, allowing the baked goods to remain the focus while still creating a branded moment. The embossed circular seal brings a more crafted finish to wrapped items, while the loyalty card, named “the bake card,” introduces a playful recurring touchpoint that encourages repeat visits without losing the brand’s quiet restraint.
The visual system extends into editorial and campaign applications with the same directness. The bound print piece uses large-scale typography, pastry imagery and minimal copy to give the brand a more collected, lifestyle-led quality, while the billboard campaign brings together product photography, warm light and short lines such as “simply, done well.” Branded merchandise, including the cap, adds to the everyday nature of the brand, making Bare feel less like a formal patisserie and more like a place people return to naturally.
The finished identity gives Bare a brand system that feels warm, confident and easy to recognise, keeping the focus exactly where it belongs: on the bake itself. From packaging to campaign applications, each detail supports a bakery experience rooted in craft, simplicity and daily pleasure.
Bare Patisserie celebrates the beauty of doing simple things exceptionally well. The identity needed to position Bare as warm, modern and ingredient-led, while giving the brand enough distinction to stand apart from traditional patisserie aesthetics. With the line “All About the Bake” at the centre of the project, the brand was designed to celebrate the product itself: golden pastry, visible craft, daily preparation and the quiet satisfaction of something made with care.
Our approach was to create a visual identity that felt refined but not precious, playful but still considered. Bare needed to feel approachable enough for an everyday coffee and pastry ritual, while maintaining the polish of a design-led bakery. The wider direction was built around this balance, using tactile materials, soft cream tones, warm yellow accents and close-up food photography to create a brand world that feels honest, sensory and memorable.
The wordmark is bold, compact and highly distinctive, giving the brand a strong graphic presence across signage, packaging, merchandise and campaign applications. Its custom letterforms feel refined and contemporary without becoming overly stylised, creating a visual language that is recognisable, confident and easy to apply at different scales. Used on the shopfront, the mark gives Bare a minimal but characterful presence, while its repeated form becomes a pattern across the pastry box, adding rhythm and recognition to a simple takeaway format.
